Our signature workout of the day class. Under a coach's supervision, you will go through a dynamic warm-up, skill or strength session, and a high-intensity functional workout. Every movement can be modified to suit any fitness level.
Objective: Functional strength and cardiovascular conditioning
A fundamental introductory course designed for newcomers to CrossFit. Learn basic movements like squats, presses, and pulls under close coaching guidance to ensure safety and confidence.
Objective: Technique and movement mechanics
An unstructured session where you can work on individual weaknesses, practice Olympic lifts, or complete a missed workout at your own pace.
Objective: Self-paced training and skill work
YEA CrossFit is located along Hedi Road in the vibrant Sanmin District of Kaohsiung City. Set in a pleasant residential and green neighborhood adjacent to the scenic Hedi Park, the area offers a relaxed, active environment that is perfect for outdoor warmups or post-workout cool-downs along the riverside.

We utilize the core CrossFit methodology—constantly varied, high-intensity functional movements—under strict coaching supervision to ensure every repetition is performed with structural integrity.
Members progress by mastering foundational mechanics first, developing consistency second, and scaling up intensity last. We offer regular performance assessments to celebrate development.
For your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes before the class starts. You'll be greeted by Coach Joshua or our staff, given a brief tour of the box, and introduced to the workout layout.
Comfortable athletic clothing, clean training flats or athletic shoes, a water bottle, and a small personal sweat towel.
A standard 60-minute session consists of a 10-minute dynamic warm-up, a 15-minute strength or skill development phase, a 20-to-25-minute metabolic conditioning workout (WOD), followed by a 10-minute cool-down and mobility stretch.
Participate in the worldwide CrossFit Open community workouts right here at our Kaohsiung affiliate box.

Joshua Pettit is the founder and head coach of YEA CrossFit. With a strong background in functional movement and athletic performance, Joshua focuses on teaching proper lifting mechanics to athletes of all ages and skills. His classes are highly educational, motivational, and thoroughly welcoming.
