Located in the beautiful coastal community of Santa Cruz, California, our facility at 100 Pioneer Street is situated in an active, industrial-chic commercial corridor just off Highway 1 and close to the San Lorenzo Riverway. It is perfectly placed for members who enjoy combining coastal outdoor recreation with elite gym training.
Conveniently accessible via local Santa Cruz METRO bus routes (Lines 4, 17, and 35 stop nearby along the River Street corridor).
Dedicated private parking spaces are located directly in front of the Suite C-2 entrance, along with free and easy street parking on Pioneer Street.
We believe fitness should prioritize safety, quality of movement, physical longevity, and deep community support. Our programs are designed to build functional capacity that carries over into everyday life, allowing members to excel at any age.
We leverage classic, proven CrossFit principles, specializing in functional movements executed at high intensity relative to physical capacity. Every workout is structured with progressive warm-ups, thorough technical instruction, and tailored scaling adaptations led by world-class coaches.
Members progress through a structured onboarding process, moving smoothly from foundational bodyweight mechanics to complex gymnastic and weightlifting techniques. Coaches conduct continuous, real-time movement evaluations to track progress and ensure safe athletic progression.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class time on your first visit. You will be warmly welcomed by one of our coaches, given a complete tour of our facility, and briefed on how the workout will be scaled to match your current fitness level.
Comfortable athletic clothing, flat-soled athletic training shoes (cross-trainers recommended), a personal water bottle, and a personal towel.
A typical 60-minute session begins with a 10-minute dynamic group warm-up, followed by 15-20 minutes of technical instruction and skill/strength building, a 15-25 minute high-intensity WOD, and ends with a 5-minute cooldown and structural stretching.
