Welcome to CrossFit For The People, located right on the border of Colonie and Schenectady at the corner of Central Ave and Lishakill Road in Albany, NY. Our mission is to make functional fitness accessible to every single person in our community, regardless of their starting point or fitness background. Beginner's guide

First visit

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class time. Introduce yourself to the duty coach, and we will guide you through the layout and prepare any scaled variations for the day's workout.

Required equipment

Comfortable workout clothes, flat training shoes, and a personal water bottle. Mobility tools and accessories are provided.

What a typical session looks like

Starts with a structured 10-minute warm-up, a 15-minute strength or skill segment, followed by the Workout of the Day (WOD), and finishes with community stretching.
