Established in 2013, Bare Hands CrossFit is the premier functional fitness gym serving Columbia, Waterloo, Dupo, and Millstadt. We believe in the power of smart strength training and high-energy group fitness classes designed to yield real-world results. Here, we run small group classes where everyone works at their own pace, but nobody ever trains alone. Under the close guidance of our highly experienced and certified coaches, you will learn correct movement patterns, build robust cardiovascular conditioning, and unlock power you didn't know you had. Our program uniquely combines the high-intensity methodology of CrossFit with specialized Hyrox preparation and structured strength cycles to optimize health and performance for real life.

Beginner's guide

First visit

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your first class. This lets you meet your coach, fill out any final check-in paperwork, and get a tour of our training facility.

Required equipment

Bring comfortable gym clothes, a water bottle, and clean athletic training shoes. We have everything else you need right here.

What a typical session looks like

A standard session lasts 60 minutes, consisting of a dynamic warm-up, a strength or athletic skill segment, the daily workout (WOD), and a targeted mobility cool-down.
